Peace Doves – Chichester Cathedral – 30th September – 12th November 2023

This artwork was made up of fifteen thousand individually handmade paper doves which were suspended above the Cathedral’s historic Nave. Each dove contained a message of peace, love and hope, written by local community groups, schools and members of the public.

Ahead of the exhibition over one hundred schools and community groups from across West Sussex, as well as the general public, wrote messages of peace, love and hope on their paper dove before returning them to the Cathedral for the exhibition.
