In the Image and Likeness – Lichfield Cathedral – 2019

This artwork explores our own dignity as human beings.  Collectively the images all come together to make one uniform sculpture.  The concept originates from biblical text where God vows to Abraham Genesis 15:5 and 26:4 “I will make your descendants as numerous as the stars in the sky”. 

The installation artwork incorporates the production of selfie photographs, or self portrait drawings through mass participation and are displayed within individual golden frames and hung to create the final sculptural artwork.
