
Kathleen Dayus Project

In 2012, a new public square located in the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham, was dedicated to local author Kathleen Dayus.
Kathleen Dayus was born in Hockley in 1903. Her works include novels about her experiences growing up in the city’s back-to-back houses.
The project was a bronze sculpture of book pages containing passages about the Jewellery Quarter from Kathleen Dayus’ work.
