
“One Small Step” is a 36m art installation, representing the moon surface with real NASA imagery. It was created for the 50th Anniversary of the Lunar Landing by Sculptor Peter Walker. The Installation allows visitors to walk on the moon and take their own one small step in the footsteps of Armstrong and Aldrin. The Installation has been experienced at Lichfield and at Peterborough Cathedral transforming the Naves and attracting thousands of visitors who have partaken in many activities on the moon within the sacred spaces.
