
The Cross – Lichfield Cathedral – 2019/2020
Beams of light creating a cruciform shape in the crossing area of the Cathedral.
Rather than a fixed crucifix this installation is a transparent and immersive experience of the crucifix form and allows the viewer to ask questions about the meaning and representation of the cross as a symbol, looking at it’s context and purpose within the space as viewers are invited to walk through and within the beams of light.
A stunning interior light installation held at Lichfield Cathedral over two year 2019/2020 – a cross of light created from beams of light intersected the interior of the ancient buildings crucifix form
