Imagining the Crucifixion – Stations of the Cross 2018

The first of a two year project looking at the contemporary interpretation of the Stations of the Cross. New and innovate ways and means of exploring the suffrage, hope and message behind each of the traditional stages of the journey of Christ to the Cross.

This incorporates painting sculpture, and projection artwork as well as interpretation and original drawings.

The exhibition was designed as though walking through the artists studio and allowing the visitor to fell as though they are seeing the artworks develop. The exhibitions will continue in 2019 with further contemporary interpretation and artwork produced and also addressing the subject of resurrection
